Part D Enrollment Steps
Part D Prescription Drug Plan Enrollment 2027
Follow the steps below to enroll in your Part D Prescription Drug Plan for 2027:
1. Go to https://www.medicare.gov/plan-compare
2. Enter your zip code
3. Choose ‘Medicare Drug Plan (Part D)’
4. Click ‘Find Plans’
5. Select ‘I don’t get help from any of these programs’
6. Select ‘Yes’ to the question asking “Do you want to see drug costs when you compare plans”
7. Enter in your medications to ensure you are enrolling in the lowest cost plan for your needs
8. Under “confirm your enrollment period”, you want to select Medicare Annual Enrollment
9. Continue filling out your information- Name, DOB, and Address
10. Submit the application with an effective date of 1/1/2027
