As you can see in the video and the chart below, the only difference between Plan G and Plan N is that after the insured pays their Part B deductible, on Plan N they have to pay up to a $20 copay for doctor visits and a $50 copay for emergency visits. Other than that, the plans are exactly the same! The major benefit of Plan N is that the rate increases are less per year when compared to Plan G.
*** Plan N pays 100% of the Part B coinsurance. You must pay a copayment of up to $20 for some office visits and up to a $50 copayment for emergency rooms visits that don’t result in an inpatient admission.
